ASUS said that it managed to ship around 1 million ZenFone in August, pushing up the company's monthly revenues to the pinnacle so far this year, at approximately NT$42.2 billion (US$1.4 billion; US$1=NT$30.02), reported China Times on September 10. The ZenFone series feature first-rate specifications at affordable prices and have seen brisk sales in India where ASUS's PC business isn't particularly strong. With ASUS going to launch ZenFone in Brazil next month, the company expects to ship around 2.8 million smartphones in the third quarter and 8 million units by year end 2014.
